Denmark -Denmark is 40 miles away from Aiken and is famous around these parts for two things, it is the closest spot to board an Amtrak train and is the home of artist Jim Harrison. (04/29/06)
Norway - Norway is also about 40 miles from Aiken and is famous around these parts for two things, you have to pass through it to get to the Springfield Flea Market and it is the home of the 2005 Class A State Basketball Champions, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler School. (04/16/06)
Switzerland - If you could see all the way down the road to where perspective causes it to disappear and look on the other side of the road you would see the back side of an identical sign, the town is that small. (12/09/01)
Santa Claus - A small bump in the road in Rural Georgia. They used to accept Christmas cards and the mayor, his staff and volunteers would hand postmark the cards, but I don't think they do it anymore. (11/19/11)
