Like our trip all over the state of South Carolina to capture an image of every Post Office in the state, the one for Oregon will differ in a couple ways. 1) We are thinking that we aren’t going to chase every single one in the bigger towns, like for instance, Portland’s 2 dozen. And 2) Every single one of them may not have the same automobile in the photos, it might be a Miata or it might be a Mini Cooper.
Canyon City to Durkee

Canyonville - 97417
The main claim to fame of Canyonville is the Seven Feathers Casino Resort of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians of Oregon. We didn't stop there, just the Post Office. (10/04/21)

Cave Junction - 97523
The Southern Oregon hamlet of Cave Junction sprang to life during the gold rush, but it was the discovery of the Oregon Caves in 1874 that put it on the map. (10/05/21)

Central Point - 97502
A suburb of Medford, but I'm sure the folks who live in Central Point don't see it that way. The USPS feel that way too as this building is larger (and nicer looking) than Medford's. (10/03/21)

Chemult - 97731
We have passed this way a couple dozen times since we have lived in Oregon and I have no idea why we haven't popped in to take a picture of this PO until now. (0701/23)

Cheshire - 97419
Cheshire - This town was a station on the Southern Pacific Railroad line platted in 1913 and originally named Hubert. Both "Hubert" and "Cheshire" were names chosen to honor James Hubert Cheshire, a favorite child of the people in the area. (2/6/25)

Chiloquin - 97624
The Klamath Tribes, a confederation of three Native American tribes who traditionally inhabited Southern Oregon and Northern California: the Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin have their Tribal government here. (7/24/20)

Christmas Valley - 97641
Christmas Valley - This is the largest town in this part of Oregon and was named after another dried up lake. (9/18/2023)

Clackamas - 97015-9594
Clackamas - On the USPS website it lists this as the Clackamas Post Office. But there are two town names and zip codes on it. I'm speculating here, but maybe the Happy Valley post office stopped getting enough business to warrant a separate building. (11/17/24)

Clackamas DCU - 97015-9630
Clackamas DCU - This is the first Detached Carrier Unit I have run into in Oregon. They were a lot more prevalent in South Carolina. (11/17/24)

Columbia City - 97018
Columbia City - A cute little Post Office in a building that probably started life as a single family home. (11/03/24)

Corbett - 97019
Corbett - Taking the new Miata out on a shakedown cruise along Historic US-30 along the Columbia River I passed this little Post Office heading east. On the way back I stopped in. (9/29/24)

Corvallis - 97333
Corvallis - Corvallis is the home of Oregon State University and its Beaver sports teams, who because of the smaller enrollment usually fall to the Ducks of the larger University of Oregon. (2/18/25)

Crabtree - 97335
Crabtree - The Postmaster and his human assistant place some new stuff on the community bulletin board. (2/19/25)

Crawfordsville - 97336
Crawfordsville - I took a picture of the Earnest Covered bridge that is between Marcola and Crawfordsville. Little did I know Crawfordsville had a covered bridge of its own. Maybe I'll seek it out next time I'm this way. (2/19/25)

Crescent - 97733
This cute little building was just on block of US97. From here we were going to drive a road parallel to 97 a mile and a half to the Gilchrist P.O., but that road turned to gravel after one block. (07/01/22)

Culver - 97734
Culver wasn't on my handmade list to look for on this trip, but Donna found it on the GPS and it was only a mile or so off US97, so we popped in to take a photo. (07/06/22)

Diamond Lake - 97731
Diamond Lake was neither an unincorporated community or a census-designated place it was a resort on a lake with a small window inside containing an equally small post office. (9/8/2023)

Dillard - 97432
A very unbusy P.O. allowed us to pull in to the drop box lane and pose for photos. (10/04/21)

Donald - 97020
Donald - This town of around a thousand people must all sleep in on Sundays until it was time to go to church because there was no a soul stirring at 10 minutes to nine in the morning. (12/8/24)

Dufur - 97021
What separates this little town from most of the other small towns in northern Oregon is the Balch Hotel. It was built in 1907 by Charles Balch, a local land owner and businessman. The hotel has changed hands a number of times over the years, but it has remained in continuous use to this day. (07/06/22)
