Pictures of me or Donna, the Miata and the Challenge poster in front of various places, landmarks or signs to score points and hopefully win fabulous prizes.
Field of Gold
These start out as fields of green and then they turn to gold so, timing is important here because once they are gold they get harvested. (8/12/20)
Dive Shop
Dive Shop: Only Dive Shop in town and this place was probably busier back before they stopped allowing scuba diving in Crater Lake back in 2012. The Arrow Weights part still has a website that sells weights and a few other diving accessories. (7/4/20)
Trolley
Trolley: These trolleys are used for tours around Crater Lake, but there are quite a few sitting around here in town at their winter storage area as they haven't started running at the park yet. None were easy to get a picture of though. Donna is holding the catalog cover just above the windshield header right in line with the power pole. (7/4/20)
Mirrored Glass Building
Mirrored Glass Building: The one and only mirrored building in town. Because the mirror doesn't start until several feet above street level this is the only way to capture the car. It is hard to tell, but Donna is standing down behind the car holding the Moss Catalog Cover up. (7/4/20)
Grain Silo
These were right there outside our Dairy Farm. (06/21/20)
Dairy Farm
Dairy Farm: Just outside Bonanza, OR we came upon this dairy farm and even though a sign was not required for this challenge, we got it in anyway. (06/21/20)
Field of Green
Field of Green:
A field of green,
I know not the crop,
as a botanist nor farmer I'm not,
A field of green.

Estate Sale
Estate Sale: On our way back from lunch today we found a couple of yard sales, luckily the proprietors decided to call them Estate Sales. Spent a few bucks at this one for a tile trivet, some Oregon magazines from the mid seventies and a Kodak Duaflex IV similar to what most of my childhood photos were taken with. (05/22/20)
Food Truck
Food Truck: This is where we eat lunch every other Friday because the fish tacos are only $2.25 each. We get 2 a piece and I leave a dollar tip. Hard to beat a fresh and delicious ten buck lunch. (05/08/20)
Trees in Bloom
Trees in Bloom: We have been good little COVID-19 stay-at-home folks figuring we would wait to start the Challenge hunt once Oregon started easing up on restrictions. But the other day we noticed one challenge that we would have missed out on if we waited any longer, Trees in Bloom. It has been spring here for a couple of weeks and a lot of the trees are already dropping their blossoms for leaves, fortunately whatever these trees are, held out for us. (04/27/2020)
Pet Shop
Pet Shop: This is the only Pet Shop in our fair city. (03/29/20)
Donut Shop
Donut Shop: We would have liked to try some donuts from here, but because we like to actually see a selection of tasty morsels before picking one out and now it is drive thru only now, it is on the list for a post COVID-19 visit. (03/29/20)
YMCA
YMCA: This is where we used to go 3 to 5 days a week to swim or workout until the COVID-19 pandemic made them shutter the joint. We hope that we can start to go back sometime in the near future. (03/29/20)
This is our 7th year doing the challenge and our last, not because we don’t want to do it anymore, but because Moss Motors is going to stop running it.
