Lil' Pirate Inflated - Here the Lil' Pirate balloon is nearly all inflated, but has started to sway. The one to the right is also getting pushed around by the less than optimal winds. I don't know what the max wind speed they have for not launching these balloons, but this morning it was right on the ragged edge of that, with occasional gusts exceeding it. (09/20/08)

Full Sky - Today also saw lighter winds so that there were only one or twp balloons didn't get airborne. We lost count, but I bet a couple dozen actually got to fly. (09/21/08)

Floating Away - This balloon showed up, unlaoded, filled with air and took off while others were stil waiting around for who knows what. (09/21/08)

Lil' Pirate Deflated - After about 20 minutes of preparation the winds were just to strong and they had to deflate the Lil' Pirate. I think he looks like he is saying, "Awwww." Somewhere around a dozen balloons did get into the air, but I'm betting at least that many tried and couldn't or didn't even try setting up. (09/20/08)

Gloves - The Shining Stars Balloon Team has a place for everyone gloves to hang on the inside of the trailer door. Only 3 of the 12 pairs are in use, I wonder where the rest of the crew is, still in bed? (09/20/08)
