On the last road trip we didn’t take many photos other than of the eight post offices we set out after, these are them:
- One of the many Oregon Scenic Byway signs we saw.
- We stayed in a cabin because, unlike the motel rooms, they hadair conditioning.
- This pond behind our cabin was very still in the early morning.
- The Harris School is a one-room schoolhouse built in 1890 by the Harris family, who were among the first pioneer families to settle in the Summer Lake area.
- Fort Rock does look that big in the photo until you realize the little white specks in the lower right are full size motor homes.
- The sign at the Fort Rock Day Use Area.
