After yesterday’s outdoor fun I brought the quadracopter back in and charged it up so I could take this little movie. Did you notice the the slight delay/hesitation on one of the props before the drone zipped out out of sight stage right? It went straight for the wall and crashed into it. After I straightened out the newly bent propeller, it would still only skim over the ground heading in one direction. So I swapped out the propeller that I had just bent straight with the second of the four extra blades that came with the flying machine. Then all it would do is lift one side of the drone leaving other two of the legs firmly planted on the ground, no matter how much throttle was applied. No amount of rebooting prop swapping would get it to do anything else but lift on side up like a puppy peeing on a fire hydrant.
Sigh, the cumulative effects of flying and crashing over 4 days took its toll. There is always next Christmas…
