I thought for sure that my Enterprise experience yesterday evening would be fodder for a great ‘rant’ post, but other than having to wait 45 minutes to get a car, it went pretty smoothly. Take a look at the below photo and tell me what kind of car I’ll be driving will the Miata is in the body shop:

Neon is correct. And that is why I used that effect. It is called ‘Colored Edges.’ The filter called “Neon Glow” looked more like embossing than neon…

When you think about it, the person who coined that trade name was a marketing genius. It’s a word with only four letters (thus saving money on nameplates, advertising and banner costs, etc.), and it evokes an impression of light, electricity, and urban excitement. And all this for a P.O.S. car with no inherent appeal in and of itself. Fucking genius!!!
