As I said before there is no easy way to export the entries from Pivot so that MT can digest them. I may try and do it manually. I think that I may lose the comments though, not that there were hundreds of insightful bon mats to save…
I have about 1050 entries in each of the Rant and the Diaries. Couple that with the 500 or so entries in PLOG and we are up to 2500 entries. PLOG will be easy as it was (is) done in MT, so it is a simple matter of exporting and then importing them back in here. You’ll know I have succeeded when the archive list grows and the post count per category climbs.
Normally I know when I have been insulted. However this time I wasn’t sure. What did you call me? A “bon mat”? How dare you.
And now feeling a little bit wiser after playing with google and babel fish, I now know that I have not been insulted, it was merely a typo. Or did you mean “good chechmates”. I find it a bit ironic that Babel Fish says ‘chechmate’ when I suspect they meant ‘checkmate’. Is today national typo day and I didn’t get the email notice. Perhaps they had my email address misspelled. Did I just misspell misspell?

That was no misspelling, I meant Bon, a peninsula of northeast Tunisia extending into the Mediterranean Sea across from Sicily and Mat, a flat piece of coarse fabric or other material used for wiping one’s shoes or feet, or in various other forms as a floor covering. I am sorry if you misunderstood.
